Early termination fees for cell phone companies

Ok, so before i call an wait on hold for 10 minutes i wanted to see if anyone knows the answer.
I cancel a phone line (that is still under contract), you obviously have to pay the ealry termination fee. Right now i think mine is @ $60.00.
My question is do they add that onto your next bill, or do you pay right then when you cancel the line with a credit card?

  • I don't know. that is why I have a no contract phone didn't want to deal with that, lol. I want to say it goes on your next bill though, but, it's been so many years. Not sure.
