Anyone have a condition that makes it hard to feel the baby since the placenta gets in the way?

I'm 22 weeks and it is hard to feel the baby due to this, anyone have this condition and will it be hard to give birth to the baby or how are exams for you to hear the heartbeat or have the baby checked?

Although, ultrasounds all are normal i make each appointment a challenge for the doctor.

Any advice or personal experiences.?
