I don't get it because that's what I heard but I have brown eyes and dh has blue eyes. My mom has blue and my bio dad has brown. But all 3 of my kids have blue eyes

Because your mom had blue and your dad had brown, you have a gene from each of them. Your husband has two blue. So, if your egg had a brown from your father and your husband's sperm has blue only, your child would have brown eyes. If your egg had the blue from your mother and the blue from your father, your child would have blue eyes.
