  • age appropriate stuff. DD's 4 so nothing higher than PG and even then i make sure its something she can handle. she's pretty good about telling me when something's too scary (Matilda, Wizard of Oz) so i let her decide. music is whatever so long as it doesnt have a lot of cussing or sexual content. we listen to the radio a lot. i also dont allow Kidz Bop but thats cause its annoying haha. i also dont like DH playing his rated M video games when the kids are around.

  • Really it depends. My kids are normally restricted to age appropriate things. I do take my 11 year old with me to see Jersey Boys because that's something we love to do together. There's a lot of profanity but she loves the music.

  • We watch Disney movies or Dreamworks cartoons. He also watches Sprout, Disney Jr., and Nick Jr. I have a setlist on my ipod that has edited versions of songs but we mostly listen to classic rock in the car. I don't think I would let him watch any PG-13 movies or anything. Kids are kids and why would someone want to subject them to things that are not meant for them to see or hear? I know this makes me sound like a square but do you really think you're a cool parent when your kid swears like a sailor and watches filth?

  • my kids watch Cartoons or Disney type shows, pixar and stuff like that. As far as music they listen to toddler songs and pretty much that is all they are allowed to watch. I try to stick with G rated things only.

  • I don't let my 5-yo watch anything scary, anything where people are shooting each other or beating each other up. I don't have nudity issues or language issues, but I really don't watch anything with real sex scenes when she's awake. For example, I'll watch "Newsroom" when she might walk in, but not "Game of Thrones."

As for music, she doesn't know how to use the radio yet, so what she listens to is what I put on in the car. Her favorite is a classical station.

  • My son is 10 --- I let him watch SOME Pg-13 movies - but only if it is an action movie or something - like "Avengers" ...stuff like that!
Nothing with Sexual Content or Language !
