  • Ask people on the internet. It's the only way to know for sure. Somebody should invent a test or something.

  • Your hCG levels will rise.....if oy there were some sort of method for checking those levels. Damn all those years of scientific research regarding the human body were obviously useless if we can't figure out a simple way of determining whether or not someone is pregnant. Eh I guess you'll have to do i the old fashioned way, wait to see if you skip the next 9 menstrual cycles and your belly swells up like a beach ball.

  • Wait, what?  The question is,

"How can you tell if your pregnant?"

I'm assuming you meant, "How can you tell if you ARE pregnant?  Well, back when I had my kids there was no internet, so, we waited to see if we skipped a period.  IF we did, we went to the Dr. and had a pregnancy test done.

Do they not teach health classes in school these days??

  • Besides the obvious, taking a test via UA or a blood draw, some early signs are an increased morning nausea or desire to eat, tender breasts, body temperature may be higher than your average normal, you have a missed cycle. But if your cycles are not regular this is not a good way to rely on. Some people actually have a different "glow" about them: it is simply the extra blood your body is starting to produce and the transfer of oxygen within, to create the exact perfect environment within your womb to allow your precious child grow. I have also heard that some people have an increase in "charlie horses" in calves at night, this I am not sure is true or not.

  • yes, some people have symptoms within the first week after conceiving, if you think you are pregnant, make sure to get in as soon as possible to see your doctor, as you will ant to be positive and start the prenatal vitamins and any other things that may need to be addressed.

  • Well, I can totally tell that I am not, I repeat, NOT pregnant. Thanks for asking.

As for you, you can take a test but if you aren't far enough along the hormones might not register high enough to give you an accurate answer, but you can always go to the dollar store and buy a case of them and wear 'em out at your leisure.
