3 Bumps

I need kid snacks for a party- probably 25 kids and atleast 30 adults......CHEAP but healthy

We under budgeted on the cake wont tell you what we spent it is sinful but HAD to have this cake!
Already bought party supplies, and all that

Most of the parties we go to just have a few bags of chips and drinks, we dont do that.
Sometimes we go all out and grill hotdogs and burgers but not this year we want MOST to go home at 4 LOL

I usually have snacks that go with the theme but our theme is Hello Kitty/Spiderman combined dont want to serve catnip and flies so please send ideas :)

  • Best thing you an do is a veggie platter and fruit platters. Cut the veggies and fruit up yourself. Watermelon goes a long way cut into cubes. Huge bag of pretzels.

Buy a big block of cheese (2lb ones here are 8 bucks) and cut the cheese into cubes. Chips and homemade salsa. You can also make hummus from dried chick peas (1 lb of chickpeas here costs 80 cents). I'll keep my thinking cap on for you.

  • fruit and veggie tray are good options but not very interesting. ;o)

You could do fruit kabobs or fruit set in to sugar cones for easy serving. you could do a goldfish bowl full of gold fish crackers. Make koolade popcorn (I can give you the recipe if you want it) Do white chocolate dipped large pretzel sticks (coloring the chocolate to theme) Deviled eggs are cheap, easy and filling, so are tooth picks loaded with a cherry tomato, a bit of moz. cheese and a bit of basil (good for the adults)

  • Fruit is always a hit - especially in summer. You can also make some cheap healthy trail mixes to snack on (and you can serve them in themed cups or bowls). Raisins, nuts, pretzels, Chex cereal, and M&Ms is a good combo or just get creative.
