  • Go to the dollar store. For the 12 month old I would just find something cheap and safe. Like a shaker toy or little puppet.

  • Normaly I dont do dollar store stuff, as its crap and it breaks and falls apart easy. Ideas for a 1 year olds would be *Baby spoon/fork set, baby cookies(mum mums) a bib, and a small stuffie.
For the 7 year old, I would do nail polish, gum, hair stuff, stickers and maybe a can of play doh. Same for the 4.5 year old
For the 4 year old nephew, I would do a hotwheels car, spiderman stickers/pencils/notepad, bouncy ball, gum
For the 9/10 year old, Similar to the 4 year olds, Maybe one of those squishy ball things, if he has good use of his hands, they would be good for exercising them.

  • thanks minimo never thought of that they are always loooking to find stuff for him to use his hands. My 7 year old can't have gum becuase she has a spacer put in because she had a tooth pulled and my sister wont give my nephew gum but all the other things sound great

  • For family birthday celebrations, I never did goody bags. Once you start it's hard to stop and then the kids complain if it breaks because it's usually something really cheap. I have gone to Amazing Savings and gotten kids books or coloring books for about $1 each.
