my daughter is 15, how can i do to help her to stop smoking?

  • Groud her! And don't let her see her friends (because they are probably all smoking)
    And I would make her go cold turkey... no patches or anything like that.

  • i was a smoker when i was a teenager(still am)..i would do it at school or any chance i got away from my mom would ground me but like i said, i would do it at school..have security start checking her. i would do Everything in my power..take her to smoking classes or something..get a grip on it now before it gets too late!GL

  • ok i started smocking at the age of 15 and i did it couse of my friends but if u take them away it will make things worse i think u should sit down with her and ask her why she is smocking show her what will happen if she dosent stop she could get canser she will always smell i think if u find out why she is smocking then maybe u can help her stop but if u take all she has away then she will just trun to much worse things your relathinoship will be hell just be there for her and help he through it but keep pushen that smockings not aloud and she can not smock but u will help her stop and u are there for her and just love her for every mistake she has and will make because she is a kid and kids some imes need to make there own misakes well just a thought good luck amanda

  • Have her grounded & monitor her more. Watch who she talks to,and her friends. I have my childs teachers let me know whats going on, I try to always keep in touch with them. I also meet all my childrens friends and parents,and that helps a lot! I also discipline her and educate her on safety,health and the risk of bad decisions. Try punishing her more. Let her know who the adult is, and that she is hurting herself by smoking!

  • ground her and all this stuff probably wont work. didnt work for me, when my parents caught me smoking the first time.

    im wondering.. are you or her father smokers too? because if so, then she wont quit (no matter what you tell her) until you quit too.

    talk to her and what not.. go ground her. but if she doesnt want to quit, then she wont.

  • my husband and i both don't smoke,
    i asked her why ? she told me , when she smoke she can for got school, friend issue......she works part time so she has her own money... i don't know what to do?
