What age did your son need to start shaving?

I just noticed that my son has the starting of a moustache. He is 11. Going to be 12 in September. This just seems early to me. So, what age did your son need to start shaving?

  • Yep, we had to shave my boy at that age! I, too, thought it was young.

  • He only has a mustache as well, but my older stepson had beard hair growing in by 12 and needed to shave too.

  • My 11 yr old doesn't have pit hair or facial hair yet. I'm fine with that. lol I *think* his voice may have cracked for the first time the other night, but I'm not sure because it hasn't happened again.

  • I have heard my sons voice crack once or twice. I wish he wasn't growing up so fast. LOL

  • Me either. He has been with his dad out of state for the past month and a half. When he got out of the car, I was shocked!

  • I know the feeling. I tell them all the time they're not allowed to grow anymore, but they just won't listen! I even grounded them, and they still grew!! lol
