what type of litter is best for clawless cats

We are rescuing two cats that are clawless and we are trying to find the best litter

  • we use the store brand and it is just fine and both our cats are fully declawed

  • I don't think it really matters if they've been declawed a while ago. I know when they're healing from being declawed they recommend certain types, but unless it is a recent procedure that is still healing, I don't think it matters.

  • I just asked my husband because he grew up with cats and he said it didn't make a difference if they had claws or not. They didn't have issues with any litters.

  • Some of our cats are front-paw declawed and have never had any problems with any of the liters we have tried. No problems with clay or clumping. We currently use Tidy Cat clumping and, again, no problems.
