so this guy donates his sperm for free to married couples with fertility issues, whats your thoughts?

  • I was watching that too!! What I couldn't understand is the FDA telling him to stop manufacturing!! WTH??

    As for him, well, if that's what floats his boat, go for it! I think he might change his mind someday though.

  • I completely understand why the FDA was trying to shut him down! They limit the amount of couples that one donor can donate to (even anonymous), because they don't want to end up with brothers/sisters/cousins/aunts/uncles etc that don't know they're related ending up together!

    I mean, it is a nice thought, but don't get carried away with it!

  • I think its a good thing though for couples with low sperm count!

  • Did you look at the baby history? 23 children with most indicating "local pick-up". Even if they make it through one generation, I wouldn't want to be from that town if it was flooded with possible cousins.

    Mom-2-3-Girlz -- I didn't even think of that! I was so flabbergasted by the FDA saying to stop! All I could think of was how WOULD a guy STOP making that??
