What kinds of questions will be asked at a child support case?

I have my first court date for child support next week. I am aware that there will be questions about income and that kind of stuff. But do they get personal? Like, if the mother & father still have sexual relations, is the mother on birth control, etc. I'm just nervous about what they may ask me. I have been broken up with my ex for two years now. And while he has a gf & I have been single, I have been intimate on & off with him for the past two years...out of loneliness. I do not wish to be with him at all. I have not been intimate with him in over a month now & I have no intentions on doing so. He just comes over & seduces me and I have moments of weakness. But I have since came to my senses. Anyway...hope to get real answers & not have judgment passed on me & I hope that you all can appreciate my honesty. I am just curious about what may be asked of me...if anyone has had this experience before.

It should be pretty routine,, your lawyer should have already given you an idea of how much your should be getting.

Child support is based solely on income. I doubt they care about your sex life.

No. They will simply ask if you live together & about his income.

They'll ask about his income and yours, the expenses each of you have in terms of rent, utilities, etc. They will not ask if you still bang him or if you're taking the pill - neither of those things are relevant to the child support case, unless you're still living with him.

At mine they only asked about income/expenses. The court will also want to know where the child lives, how many nights with you, how many nights with your ex, etc. If you haven't, I always found it helpful to have a written budget so the judge could look at exactly how/where I spent my money.
The other questions (sex life, etc.) could come in to play in a custody case, but not child support.
