  • Going to try a watermelon glazed salmon tonite. The glaze has a hot pepper jelly in along with the watermelon. Can't wait to see how it turns out with the spicy and sweet together

  • I tried a veggie type cold salad from the deli in Hannafords Grocery. I liked it, but it did not like me. It not so obviously must have had mayonnaise in it. Mayonnaise literally makes me sick. I was sick for 36 hours.

  • Been trying a bunch of new things lately. The benefit of bein in a foreign country. Last night my friend made a rice and lentil dish that had my older kids begging for the recipe. It was really good.

  • I had carpaccio at lunchtime today for the very first time - it was an interesting experience, it had a more delicate flavour than I would have expected.

  • I made a bourbon sauce the other day that we LOVED. I will definitely be making it again. I made it with chicken last time and I think I will make it with pork chops next time.

  • There isn't much I haven't tried. I won't try really gross stuff like bugs or things like that. I've had sweet breads at a wedding and loved it. I've had alligator bites and osterich burgers. I love liver, chicken and calves liver. I also love foi gras. There hasn't been much else to try.
