  • Depends on the college and whether they were a quarterly or semester schedule. If it is 48 credirs at a college that was divided into Senesters you should be fine. If it was a quarterly schedule you might have to double check your transcripts and what teh equivalent would be,.

  • Yup-
    I.e.
A one hour class is normally worth 1 cr
A 3 hour class is normally worth 3 cr
    So 48 credits = 48 hours
    Good Luck with the job

  • Kristi is right. Some don't care much whether it was 30 credits/quarter hours/semester hours...but there is a difference between quarter hours and semester hours if they want to get specific. Semester hours are longer than quarter hours. You should be fine either way if you have 48 credits.

  • I know that I get 3 credits a class, but I switch classes every 9 weeks and only take two classes at a time! So I guess thats what had me confused!?

  • Semester hours are slightly longer though as they count for 1.5 credits per hour. In which case she would need a minimum of 45 credits...so at 48 she still qualifies!

  • Here's what I want to know... You can sit in classes for hours, but that doesn't mean you'll pass them! Don't they just want to know your GPA??

  • I go to school on line so I do not sit in classes, they did not even ask for my GPA
