The Shakes...

Had them yesterday morning.
Kind of thought it was because I needed to eat.

Went to make coffee this morning and discovered the 1/3 measuring cup in the coffee can. Normally the 1/4 cup is in the measuring can.

Sooooo. If DF normally puts in 2 1/4C scoops that equals 1/2C. Beginning to see the issue?
Yesterdays pot of coffee was 2/3C!


Need to get a clearly marked coffee scoop...

  • If it's too strong just add some water. It's like making ice tea concentrate.

    I defrosted what I though was ground beef and it turned out to be a skirt steak.

  • Robin- I do that alot. My butcher shop must have had a new employee. A lot of packages were mislabeled.

  • I can't remember the most recent mistake I made, but Robin's comment reminded me of the time I thawed meat and went to make meatloaf. I was trying desperately to mix it all together and couldn't figure out why it was so difficult and then realized I'd thawed cube steak instead of ground beef. lol
