  • Posting a thread means that you start a new topic in one of the groups and others can quote or reply. Asking a question usually means posting something in the answers section in the form of a question and others reply with answers to that question. The answers section, while sometimes used for discussion and debate is really just a place to get or give advice. A group post is much much longer and has built in abilities for posting photos and changing fonts and size and automatically allows for rich text ( known as full editor in this section)
