How likely is it? adult content

to get pregnant while breastfeeding 9 weeks after having a baby? i have not had a period since giving birth and dh an i ha sex for the first time after having the baby and he didnt pull out in time.

  • Well, anytime you have unprotected sex you risk pregnancy. Pulling out is not birth control. That said, if you are nursing full time, it is extremely common to have no periods or messed up periods until you introduce other foods into your baby's diet.

  • Breastfeeding suppresses ovulation for most women. HOWEVER, there are women who get pregnant immediately. One of my best friends did that! Pregnant again at six weeks postpartum.

    If you don't want to be pregnant again, birth control is in order. And pull out is NOT birth control... semen is present the moment the penis is erect, so pulling out is basically useless.

  • It's less likely than just when you were not bfing and after your period. But it is not impossible.
