  • yes and my heart still stops every time my ds climbs up something high, like at the playground or on his sister's top bunk bed... he is a total climber and at 3.5 I still get nervous! my girls were mellow and scaredy cats so didn't really climb that much :P

  • Only thing that scared me was him climbing out of his crib and then at a little over two climbing a tree in his grandma's yard. Other than that it didn't really bother me, but I was a climber when I was a child.

  • UUUUUGGGGHHHH.....I hate the climbing stage lol lol. I don't remember my middle dd clumb very much on things and I don't remember her getting hurt when she did climb on things lol. My oldest dd when she started climbing she was climbing on the dinner table one time I went to get her down well when I put her on the floor (she was a little over a year) she got mad threw a fit and hit her head on the dinner chair so she had this huge goose egg like instantly so I took her to the dr and it ended up being fine, but it scared me so bad. I take that back my middle dd did climb and get hurt one time she was about 2 climbed on the dinner chair just as i told her to sit her butt down she fell and had a cuncuction scared the crap out of me she ended up being fine though thank god. Then one time my oldest climbed on my bed (I was doing my makeup getting ready to go out with dh's aunt) she started jumping on the bed i turned cont.....

  • around to get her and she started laughing and backing up so i couldn't get her so when i went to get her she fell off the bed and her lip and nose were bleeding that scared me i thought she broke her nose (but luckly she didn't). Then my now 12 month old just recently learned to climb the couch so she climbed up there this morning and of course i didn't get to her intime (she was jumping and laughing wanting me to catch her) she fell off and now poor thing has a bruise on her head. I so haate the climbing stages lol
