This is BEYOND SICK!!! I can't forgive him. Or can I? adult content

I found letters under my boyfriends bed from a girl.
In the letter she mentioned sex, and she couldn't wait till she was 18...

I asked him,he said it was a one time thing and she was about to be 18. But i took matters into my own hands, and messaged her. She told me she was 16 when she messed with him lat year. He was 29 las year. I asked her how old he was she said at the time he told her 23. He lied to her about his age. He claims he never told her his age.

I asked her what they done...she told me they had sex almost every night, sometimes more than once. Also they didn't use protection all the time. She said he also performed oral on her, but never ever kissed her, or told he loved her, or they were official.

I asked my bf...he claims it was a huge mistake! He regrets it. He was lonely, and depressed at the time, and supposedly he thought she was about to be 18... That's a lie she says! He says he's asked for forgiveness from god.....and he is sick just the thought of it. She said it had been going I for 2 1/2 months, and she moved. She said after that they still talked for a bit, and the last time was 3 months ago. He Denies that.

My heart is so torn, it literally feels like its being ripped out my chest. When I think about I feel sick to my stomach!!! Thinking of it makes me tear up! I thought I knew him! I understand everyone makes mistakes. I was with my sons dad at 17 he was 25 but I'm very mature. Messaging her I can tell how immature she was... She looks like a baby still.

Anyways. Could he be forgiven? Should I let this go? Ladies my heart is crushed!!!!!

  • So you got together with a guy that committed Statutory rape and was 8 years older than you at the time, and are somehow surprised that he is still preying on young women?

You need to report him to the police for statutory rape and dump his ass.

  • The term "statutory rape" is used in some legal jurisdictions to refer to sexual activities in which one person is below the age required to legally consent to the behavior.[1] Although it usually refers to adults engaging in sex with minors under the age of consent,[1] it is a generic term, and very few jurisdictions use the actual term "statutory rape" in the language of statutes.[2] Different jurisdictions use many different statutory terms for the crime, such as "sexual assault", "rape of a child", "corruption of a minor", "carnal knowledge of a minor", "unlawful carnal knowledge", or simply "carnal knowledge". Statutory rape differs from forcible rape in that overt force or threat need not be present. The laws presume coercion, because a minor or mentally challenged adult is legally incapable of giving consent to the act

  • 16 is a minor, depending on jurisdiction 17 is a minor. In either case it was Statutory rape and he preyed on younger women and he will continue to do it unless you report him to the authorities

  • kristi- isn't 16 the age of consent though?

    **************

He did this before he met you? Fine-But I don't know, I mean why would he keep letters from her if it was over, and WHAT THE HELL does a guy in his 20's want with a 16- 17 OR 18 yr old?!?!? ICK
personally, I think there are some pretty big issues here and I'm not sure I'd want to be sticking around to find out about any other lovely pieces of info about him. Also- that's pretty convenient to say he's asked forgiveness and feels sick about it - I mean I suppose it could be true, but it sounds like a line of crap to me to be honest

Depends on the state. Many however, the age is not until 18
