  • here is some information I found on google search

A yellow watermelon is a piece of fruit that is nearly identical to a traditional watermelon, but the flesh inside is a bright yellow color instead of red or pink. The taste is also very similar, though some say it has a sweeter or more honey-like taste. Orange and white watermelons exist as well. A yellow watermelon can be a great snack, and works well in most recipes that call for watermelon.

Yellow watermelons look almost exactly like regular watermelons on the outside, and are selected in the same way. Choose a yellow watermelon that feels firm and has bright green skin with mottled stripes. When tapped lightly, it should have a crisp sound. The fruit should smell fresh and feel solid.

The watermelon should not be soft, cracked, or bruised anywhere, though some slight yellow discoloration on the skin is acceptable. This usually occurs where the watermelon was resting on the ground.

A yellow watermelon can be purchased in any size, depending on how much of the fruit is needed. Yellow watermelons are generally oblong or oval in shape, and may also be sold halved and quartered, for those who do not need an entire watermelon at once. Purchasing a watermelon that has already been cut is beneficial, because the freshness and ripeness of the fruit can be more easily viewed. Watermelons are available in seeded or seedless varieties; watermelon seeds are small and black and are fairly easy to remove.
