Its been a horrible flea season and we havent been able to get control. We can't afford things like frontline right now (my husband is looking for work) - although my sister in law uses it on her pets and they still have fleas. But its starting to effect my son. He has bug bites everywhere. I'm at my wits end and don't know what to do. Solutions?Answer Question

Forgers are really good but you need to leave the room where you put it for a while, bathing the dog with flea shampoo frequently will ease it up a bit, but your best bet is the kind of flea control that you give orally, they are as expensive as what you mentioned, but they last a lot longer...I give mine comfrontis, you need a prescription but it works like a charm!

Once you do find a way to get it off the dogs, you also need to get this stuff for your carpeting if you have any in your house. You can find it at any Pets supply store. I believe you can use it on furniture as well. Can't remember the name of it, but you just spray it on, wait & then vacuum. Then all the bedding needs to be washed in hot water. GL
