How long were you engaged before you got married?

We never had a formal engagement. We just decided one day to get married before the seasons changed, and we were married two weeks later.

We were dating for 9 months, then he asked me to married him on April 7 and we got married April 21..... IN A CLASSIC VEGAS WEEDING!

I got engaged in Dec and was married in May. My sister was living in Israel at the time and was pregnant. I had a small window of opportunity to have the wedding before she couldn't travel or got too bogged down with a newborn.

He asked me after we had been dating about two months or so, maybe three ... around April or May 1984. We were going to wait until I turned 18 which would have been 4 years (technically 3 1/2) but circumstances changed and we got married September 1985. So about a year and a half, give or take.

Not real long. We were "informally" engaged for about 2 years. But from the time he proposed with a ring and all to the time we got married was a couple days.

6 months.. It would have been 10 months be we decided to get married on our one year anniversary of dating.

we were never really engaged...we were together pretty much from a couple days into meeting and were inseperable other than going to work- so...he never actually asked me formally or anything

We did about what you did. We were together since we were 14 an 16, and we basically did it at 19 and 21 so our parents would feel better about us moving in together. No real engagement. No money. Very simple.
