Do you have a will?

We've had wills since we had our first child 10 years ago. We were worried about where our children would go if we died.  It's been updated twice since then.

This is obviously not Just for Fun. I didn't know where to put it.

  • Mine was done when my boys were still minors. They are both adults now & I know I need to have it updated. It's one of those things you don't really think about too often.

  • not an official, lawyer done one. but i do have a will that i wrote out myself and had my DH, parents, & inlaws sign while 2 other ppl witnessed it. DH did the same. DH did the same thing. its mostly a living will and so our parents knew what our wants were long before anything happened.

  • Yes, we have a mutual will. Basically it says that the surviving spouse gets everything unless we specifically identify an object to go to someone else (which we didn't do). Our powers of attorney are much more detailed and give a lot more power.
