Do you have a SO and still not celebrate Valentine's Day?

I've been with my husband for 5 years and I can't remember ever doing anything special. We're just not into that type of thing. He buys my flowers when he thinks of me and that make me feel more special than doing it just on Valentine's day!

  • We never do anything either. We never get each other gifts for birthdays or christmas either. We focus on the children and make sure their holidays are fun.

  • I am with you, we don't celebrate that Hallmark/retail holiday. We celebrate our love and respect for each other all year long instead. It means much more that way.

  • I've been with my husband a total of 7 years and we rarely do anything. I might get a candy bar from him (becase he knows my favorite) but we don't spend bukoo bucks on each other. We both know we love each other and it should be something that is shown daily, not yearly :)

  • Usually its because we don't have any really though, we usually make time during the year to do the things we want, and we are romantic all year anyway. So its pretty much just another day.
