What are some toys your kids actually play with?

I'm so sick of buying the latest toy, or barbie, to see them abandoned shortly after with all the parts missing. What are some cool toys your kids actually played with?

  • Mine son is 7 and my daughter is 5 and they LOVE legos of any kind. Really my son likes any toy he can build with and my mother has found some interesting ones. We also buy high quality dolls and a doll house for my daughter that she loves to play with. My son is also currenlty on an army kick and plays with his army men. What I have found works the best for my kids is anything where they can use their imaginations. We have lots of fabric scraps and stuff that they use for everything. They make forts and become super heroes with them. You name it they do it.
