Is telling someone else they are "judging"being judgmental yourself?

I'm not asking for any particular reason, I am just interested in other peoples feelings on this, you know food for thought....please don't be mean lol!!

  • Yes. It's funny how the minority in a conversation are always told they are "judging" but the majority can gang up and judge the minority for "judging." It's sad...but really funny if you think about it.

  • Yep. Usually the difference is the one being called out is someone who cares or pretends to care about being judgemental while the person calling them out doesn't really care and is pointing out a hypocrite

  • But then adding to my own question, what if they were just saying how they saw it? This is where I run circles in my own head.

  • It depends but often a person is so out of line, rude, inappropriate that it's common knowledge that it isn't right morally or ethically. I guess technically, it's passing judgement but more for the common good than to push a personal value on someone.

  • yes because you too are judging what they have said or wrote, but I like to think of it as an opinion.
