Shoelace troubles...

idk what's going on, but I recently had to replace my daughter's shoelaces (they were black and broken at the ends). So I bought her some at Walgreens and the next day she had broken them. So I thought it was a fluke and bought her some new ones that day. Today she comes up to me and says one of them is almost broken. Again. What's going on? idk what to do, buy her new ones for the 3rd time so she can break them tomorrow?

  • Ask her what she is doing to them. Kids do the funniest things, she may have something going on there!

  • velcro shoes or slip ons... IDK :o)

men's work boot laces, actually, any men's laces would work better, they seem to be made stronger since men are not gentle with their shoes LOL

make sure she has them tied correctly and double knot them so they don't come undone if that's the problem... them coming undone and she's walking on them...

  • Hmm upon closer inspection, they are tearing around where she ties them first before making the bows...maybe slip ons or velcro would be cool...she's 6 btw.

  • Get the round braided laces. They are a lot stronger.
