  • I belive its 3 months. I would think for at least a few minutes each time, depending on much baby likes it!

  • You can start tummy time at birth. It should be just slighty past the time your baby gets tired, to build muscle.

  • Don't they have to be able to keep their head lifted though?

  • my baby has been on his tummy since he was about 3 weeks old... now he's 6 months.. crawling, pulling up, cruising. I don't know if it has anythign to do with that... he is very independent....

  • I always put my babies on their tummy...My daughter was holding her head up day 1...The sooner the better though because they will begin building up those muscles. If you have not done it yet..its ok. Just begin putting baby on tummy and he/she will begin working on it or catch up if behind. I think one of mine I didnt do it and so we had to play catch up...Luckily with little babies...they all eventually catch up.

  • Start from the very beginning. It will be less likely you'll have trouble later...

  • you can start tummy time at any time. i used to let my babies fall asleep on my chest laying on their tummies, they loved that. , 2 months laying on a blanket i would talk to my little ones. they can do it till they get fussy, and trust me they let you know when to pick them
