Could you please comment on the following "advise" by my mother in law ?
She told me that her son (my husband) is gorgeous, and I should be telling him
that he 's good looking more often, cause "after all, this is the truth".
She's never told me that I am beautiful., and never gave me any compliment on anything.
What do you think this comment means?Answer Question

Different people feel validation in different ways. Some people need to get gifts as an affirmation. Some people need to be physical. Some people need to be told positive things about themselves. Maybe he needs to hear how you feel about him to feel wanted and loved.
Just curious, but how long have you been married?
