Uterine irritability?
I've been into labor and delivery twice in the past 4 days with what they called uterine irritability. I'm dilated to 1 1/2 cm 50% effaced, the first time I went in I was 1cm and only about 25% effaced so my cervix is changing between these episodes. I'm almost 23 weeks pregnant so this is kind of a big deal with it being so early so I'm on a strict schedule of 10mg of nifedipine every 6 hours.
Has anybody else ever had this kind of thing? When did you deliver? What did they do that helped put off delivery?

No thank heavens but I'm on bedrest and now 20mg every four hours to stop contractions. Doctor mentioned doing steroid injections in a week.
