Missing A Period

Is it possible to completely MISS a period due to stress? I've been late because of stress before...but what are the chances of actually skipping one?

I'm currently 9 days late, but I really don't think I'm pregnant. I don't "feel" the way I've felt in the past before finding out I was pregnant, and just based on timing I really don't think I could be.

No, I'm not asking if I could be pregnant...I'm just curious about the stress aspect of it. Yes, I've been under a lot of stress lately, during going for a promotion at my job...but upon finding out I got the promotion, my stress level went way down.

  • Yes, being stressed can cause you to miss a period. There are actually a few reasons you could miss a period, that aren't pregnancy related.
