how can i teach my son to use the toilet for bowel movements

while at daycare he uses the toilet to pee but he no longer has bowel movements at the daycare.At home however, he does not use the toilet at all. He once flushed his own BM down the tilet so I know it ius not separation anxiety.
Any advice?

  • I used the book "Everybody Poops". It is slightly graphic for a kids book (bc it is about poop after all) but it worked great when I was training Turk.

  • I agree that "Everyone Poops" is a great book. Kids love it so you can find it at most libraries and book stores. It's just a picture book so it's not too gross.

  • Bribing with candy worked for me! I would give her a couple M&M's everytime for a couple of weeks, that she went.
