What good news have you heard lately??? (UPDATE)

I just found out that my dh got a raise and that we may be moving into a house.. so much has been looking but for my little family. Ahh my dh just called and we got the house.. we are so excited... no more apt.. we will have a big yard for the kids

I called my daughter's school yesterday. Due to a change in our finances we were going to be unable to pay $2,500 tuition for her to be in all day kindergarten, if she even made the lottery. So I called and she will be in AM half day. She'll get to walk to school with her brother (see race competition) and will be bused home. I also got her supply list.

I'll be going to my son's school to get his supply list after the neighbor goes home.

That my BIL's surgery went well even though there are a few concerns for down the road. He is back on a vent for possibly two days, but had been breathing on his own before surgery, so that was a good sign. He had been able to whisper to his wife and while he is still critical his case is looking better and better as the days go on. I just pray that his recovery keeps moving in a positive direction.
