I get my period 2 times a month... My question is...

I've been getting my period Twice a month since I got off the depo shot a year ago didn't start getting my period til December of last year and I have been trying to conceive since then. The doctor tells me it can take 18 month to conceive again, but now this month it's different. It's different because I am 8 days late on my next period, my back was hurting like a cramp of some sort and my boobs hurt so bad I can't take off my bra if that makes any sense, so here is my question... would I be pregnant or I'm just late on my period because the depo still hasn't left my body yet?

  • No way to know without a pregnancy test. Your body could just be slowly getting on track. Birth Control kind of fools your body, so it can take awhile for it to adjust.

    yes, you could be pregnant, or you may not be.

  • it took us 4 years..after coming off the depo. i just found out 2 wks ago. when i first came off depo i had the two periods a month for about a year, i had to take birth control pills to get regular. I also had pregnancy symptoms every month..sore boobs, nausea, cramps, that would always make me think i was pregnant
