  • Ohhh, so he got rid of it because it was pissing and crapping all over the furniture and house? I don't blame him. Why didn't you house train it?

  • A well I see the point if you will not see to their training and it makes the home unlivable then you remove the problem the only way you can.
Please Do not get another dog.

  • When we got our pups last summer, DH many times made his little threats that he was going to get rid of them (they are Huskies and they are known for their stubborn attitude...training them seemed to take forever...). But I knew he never would...not only because I knew he really loved the dogs, but because he loves and respects me. Quite honestly, I would be looking more at the big picture here...not that he keeps giving away your dogs, but WHY he is giving them away. Seems like a power struggle...and frankly, if DH pulled something like that on me, he'd lose big time.

  • I have 2 questions-
Why did the dog need to go to the vet? As a pet owner you should have been up to date on the puppy's care.

Who agreed to get the dog? Did you ask your husband before you did?

I think perhaps you were not as diligent as you should have been with house training,, I have had puppies have accidents, but not when I was home to take them out every hour, and never "all over the furniture" I don't think your husband was kind in giving away the dog, but sounds like your dog has a better home.

  • Then you are not getting your dog back.
I would be curious why he would do this.
If I didn't have a good enough answer I would consider leaving him.

  • I seem to get dogs that poop and pee on the furniture lol

You're laughing because you have pets that crap where your children lay their heads? Yeah- I'd have gotten rid of the dog too. Priorities. Kids before dogs.

  • I think you have bigger problems than him only giving the dog away,, your line about "he is the one with the money" really bothers me, it bothers me he bought her as a gift and then disposed of her, perhaps because he was angry? IDK but you could very well be married to a control freak, so if my kids were in school I would be getting a JOB, and socking away every dime I could. I would let the dog thing go, I hope they didn't double dip on her shots, it woudl be nice of you to give them the records. I would most likely get a new husband instead of a new dog,, LOL.

  • I don't know why he gave your dog away but I'm very sorry he did that. The only solution I can think of is for you to go get another dog, and make it clear that he's not to do it again.

I want that one back so bad especially ever time I see this women that has her makes me want my dog even more
