1st birthday gift ideas??

we got our daughter a fsh aquarium and now i have no idea what to get our son!! i as thinking a wagon but they are super expensive and they have mine from when i was a kid anyway

  • there is a puppy at walmart made by fisher price but i cant remember the name of it. it has blue ears a red shirt with letters on it. really cute. go to fisher and check it out. its like $20 at walmart

  • those foam floor letters, numbers, and shapes are great. The puppy that sthompson was talking about is really educational and great it teaches body parts and colors. We also have one of those spring horse things they can ride on, you would have to stay with him or watch really close, but he will love that too

  • A pedal car is a cute idea. Children's has really cute pedal cars for boys and really cute personalized birthday banners.

  • All of our kids got a ride/push car for their first birthday from the grandparents. Really, though, keep the gift small, and if you really feel the need to get rid of money, put some in the bank. At one they don't know any better, and the sooner you start saving money for them, the more they'll have later...for college, or retirement, or whatever.... Used to be that 2000.00 put away when they were born would make them a millionaire by retirement. I don't think that works with today's interest rates, and it's hard to put away that much, but my point is that even a small amount can really grow over 65 years!
