  • The person who holds your hand when you are scared of needles, and throws snow at you outside while after bundling you in 7 layers of clothes. The one that stays up until 4 in the morning helping with the last minute project you forgot about, the one you call when you are in trouble and need someone to help you. The person you feel you can confide in, even if it is something you are scared of telling. Someone you are certain can get things done, because she has never let you down. She cleans the diapers, and the vomit when you didn't quite make it out of bed. She also knows exactly what to do when you wake sick in the middle of the night. She can go for sleep without days when you are sick, or getting teeth, or when you have nightmares.

  • mother: one who cleans up koolaide messes, changes diapers even though they smell gross, is up at the crack of dawn to feed the baby, cleans even the messiest of messes, is there no matter how important or silly it is, thinks even the scribbles on a small note pad is the best art work, and always says I love you after being thrown up on while having a seriously bad day......

  • Being a mother meant so much more to me than having a mother. (Sorry, Mom, but it's true. You leave alot to be desired!)
