  • Nothing. At 6 months I dressed her as a pea in a pod for Purim in Feb that I got from a friend. I'd be nervous about a costume being too scratchy for a newborn's skin. My dd was 2 months old on Halloween and we didn't do anything. Trust me they don't know or couldn't care.

  • I know the zombie thing would require an older baby, but maybe you can do some rendition of it? I just want to have another baby so I can do this. But DH says babies are for life, not just for the holidays, blah blah blah...

  • Just a little sleeper with pumpkins on it is enough. I drew cat whiskers on my son.

  • Put her in an orange sleeper and tell everyone she is a pumpkin. It's easy and she will be ready for bed when you get home. =)

  • I made and stitched bunny ears on my baby's cap. and a little cotton tail on his back end. Cute, and comfy.

  • My son was the obligatory pumpkin. He was not even 3 months old and it is extremely difficult to find an actual costume for a newborn.
