What to make?

I'm having my aunt & her friend come over around noon, what should I make or do...I have no idea.

  • If the weather is as hot by you as it is here, a big dinner salad, or let them make their own - have a few options like boiled eggs, ham, chicken, extra veggies, croutons or crusty rolls, things like that.

  • Around noon, maybe something like a pasta and a salad? It sounds like an early lunch, so a type of sandwich would be good like a panini.

  • I make homemade spanikopita all the time. I use puff pastry instead of phyllo dough, because it's much easier to work with. That and a salad is a nice lunch.

  • Tear up some lettuce, then chop several different kinds of vegetables & maybe ham/cheese put these on a tray and they can assemble their own salad. If you have time get a good loaf of rustic bread. Serve with lemonade and/or ice tea.
