Did anyone have problems with their baby and carrots?

My baby girl has been eating food for about 3 weeks now. I tried carrots with her twice. Both times she spit them up about 2 hours after I fed her. I'm thinking they aren't digesting right. All other baby food she has done great with. I'm not going to give them to her for a while.

  • my son ate them at first..then all of a sudden he started throwing them up. I havent gave them to him since. I would just wait a lil while an then try her on them.

  • My son ate everything I gave him so I never had a problem, but when I was talking to my daycare provider she told me if there is something he refuses (your instance carrots) mix it with something he likes (peas?) add more and more each time.. I wouldn't expect it to be a digestive problem. She may not like the texture or flavor, I only say that since she doesn't have problems with other foods

  • My son loves carrots! I make mine at home so maybe it's different. I don't buy baby food I run steamed carrots through a food mill, works great!

  • my son threw them up the first time he had them. he had never actually thrown up before that's why I noticed. It didn't phase him but I stopped giving them to him for a while. I tried again a few weeks later and he did okay but that was the last time he had them. I will tell you he pooped bright orange!
