I have a mango the size of my head- what should I do with it?

That pretty much sums up my question. SO came home with it- said he HAD to buy it. It's enormous.

  • Mango shake. Fresh mango cubes, half and half, 2-3 tbsp of plain or vanilla yogurt, milk and sugar (to taste). I make it for DH all the time, he loves it

  • We love to just peel them and eat. You can also cut it up with some pineapple and bananas and make an exotic fruit salad.

  • Not to be a party pooper, but make sure it's not one of the recalled ones before you do anything:

  • My SO said it's not a part of the recall and that the PLU 3114 is universal for mangoes. He works at the store he bought it from, so they would know right?

  • If you think you can't eat it all within a day or two, you can cut it up and freeze it and use it in smoothies later.
