What's your favorite side dish recipe?

I do pea salad

frozen peas
shredded cheddar cheese
chopped chives
bacon bits
ranch/mayo mix with dill

:) I put too much mayo in the one I just made and had no bacon bits- but it's still cool and refreshing

  • Depends on the occasion and time of year.

    For summer, Spaghetti Salad,

Cooked Spaghetti ( I use whole wheat)
    avocados, cubed
    cucumbers diced small
    tomatoes diced small
    red wine vinaigrette,

tossed all together, and topped with crumbled feta cheese

  •  Hey that sounds like my DH's recipe minus the avocados- he uses a purple onion tho. It's so good.  So is my mom's potato salad.  And my niece makes good spinach rolls.  My SIL makes great cheesy potatos too.  So I guess I like what everyone else makes! lol :p

  • Actually...I forgot to add I use chopped green onions and snipped fresh basil.....although a purple onion would be awesome in this recipe, I may try it!

  • It depends on the season. In the summer I usually do a cucumber salad.
In the fall/winter I like corn with bacon bits, or green beans with bacon bits.
In the spring baked mac and cheese (good for fall too).

  • I do cubed cucumbers, avocado, and Mexican cheese. I put a Spanish seasoning garlic basically mixed with vintages and a lime or half depending on how much juice it gives me.
