My best friend growing up and I have totally lost touch because even though we were so close as kids up until our 20s, as soon as we became moms it became really difficult for us to hang out because suddenly our differences were magnified in our kids: she is a health nut, but I stood up for myself and my choice to treat myself now and then, but once we had kids and she started criticizing what I fed my child it was unbearable, same with different discipline styles and how much tv our kids watch, it all became a battle of trying to justify our decisions to each other. We debated about everything before we had kids with no hard feelings, but once the kids were involved it was personal.Answer Question
