how many weeks

how many weeks do you have to be to find out the sex of the baby?

  • most dr office will do a 20wk u/s and at that point they can tell you the sex if baby is in a good postion. But i think the earliest you could find out is probably about 15 or 16weeks but iv heard if you find out that early there is a good chance they can be wrng because its hard to see.

  • well i know it by months so 3, 3 and a half to 4 months

  • It depends, really. They don't CONFIRM it until about 20 weeks. But my doctor told me I was having a boy at 12 wks 3 days.

  • I had my first ultra sound 17 weeks and 2 days. They told me that they were 90% sure it was a boy but I go back today at 18 weeks and 1 day to check again.

    The earliest is 16 weeks. Some people like to wait to 20 weeks but it depends on the tech or doctors preferances.
