DD is such a cutie.

So I had practice last night, and I usually get home from practice after the kids are asleep. Well, I texted DH to let him know I wouldn't be home at 8, probably not until after 8:30. He tells me he asked DD "Do you want to go to bed?" She of course said "no". Then he said, "Do you want to go to bed or wait for Mommy?" Her response was "Seriously?!?! Mommy?!?!" (excitedly). So she was up when I got home, but she is was so super tired. She couldn't even keep her eyes open for me to tell her "Goodnight, I love you".

Just made me smile that she wanted to stay up so she could see me.

That same thing happens in my house ALL the time. Right when I'm at the point of completely losing it and wanting to hang them from the ceiling by their toenails, they do something incredibly sweet that I CAN'T be mad at.

It helps to vent on here.
