Is it possible for a person to get an opiate-like high from merely walking? What pace and distance would they need to do?

  • i havent heard of the euphoria thing from walking but definitely running triggers the endorphins. i know walking helps alleviate headaches for me though and improves my overall mood, but i dont get the amazing feeling i get when i run/jog.

  • I get a hiker's high, so I can see how someone can get a walker's high. I think any exercise can do that.
