  • Is she newly potty trained? My daughter went quite a bit in the beginning, she was nervous she would have an accident.

  • I was thinking the same thing as BB, but she would also be very thirsty all the time if that was the case (i think?). IS she asking for drinks a lot or just having to pee a lot?

  • If the amount she is drinking is not comparable to what sheis urinating I would ask a doc

  • That sounds like a lot. I know my son "had to go"often when he was newly petty trained at 3 but most times he would just sit there and mess around. He only actually goes maybe 5 times a day.

  • She should be drinking at least 4-6 quarts of liquid per day 15-20 seems excessive, it if truly is a large amount of urine.

  • I would see the doctor.

  • A 4 year old will not drink 4-6 quarts of liquid a day - that's 1-1.5 gallons! Like sheloveearth said, if her output is more than her intake, call the doctor. Otherwise wait and see - my kids all seemed to go a lot when they were that age!

  • wow that sounds like alot. I just went to the doctor to talk to about the opposite problem mine drinking normally and not going as often as I thought she should go. but if your daughters intake is not as much as her outtake i would consultant a doctor.
