Do you think it is ok..

for me to help my husband lift heavy furniture if I "lift with my legs and not my back"? ..that what he tries to tell me. I am 17 weeks prego.

  • they say its not a good idea however i work as a CNA and lift by myself adults all day into their wheel chairs and im 28wks and have had no issues. But id ask your dr every pregnancy is different.

  • No!! Don't do any heavy lifting like that, i was told also nothing over 20lbs.

  • no not if your body is not used to it. its okay to do your limit like if you lifted everyday before you got pregnant. but I wouldnt do it, dont risk your baby

  • I am used to lifting but I got put on restriction because I had complications. If you're not used to doing it, then no, don't do it.
