School picture background color?? Grey or Blue?

Hi! My son is in Kinder and we have school pictures next week using LifeTouch. Which color background is better? Grey or Blue? He has blond hair and blue eyes so I was thinking blue but some of the pics I have seen online are REALLY blue...

I am probably going to have him wear a simple solid color polo shirt and also not sure which color for that either- depends on the background I guess...Any suggestions???

  • You get to choose? The people my district use just always go with blue backgrounds for the fall pictures.

  • Yes we get to pick. I wish I didn't have to worry about something like that because I am not a photographer so I have no clue!

  • I'd go with the grey & wear a darker colour if the blue is really bright.

  • My DD has blue eyes & blond hair too. I'd probably go with the gray if it's a really bright blue, & put him in a blue polo. It will bring out his eyes & make him stand out well from the grey.
