Endometriosis sufferers? Do your flare ups normally last for days at a time?

Most of the time, I mine go for hours a day, a few days in a row, but I generally have a break in there somewhere. My sisters will go all day, but never more than two days in a row. This last one however, there has been no relief since about noon on Monday. I was just wondering which was more common? I am stage 4, unresponsive to hormones, in case that makes a difference!

  • I had stage 3 with no symptoms. I can't imagine what you must be going through, since I hear it is awful for some women. Have you had surgery to clean out the endometrial tissue?

  • I did have surgery, however, I would have to have surgery every 6 months for it to be truly effective.
